The Vitamin Shoppe Next Steps Fit N' Full Shakes

I received several products from +Influenster to try out in the New #GoVoxBox.  My first review is on the +The Vitamin Shoppe #NextStep Shakes.  I try to watch what I eat anyway.  So this fit into my daily routine perfect.

I tried the French Vanilla the First day with Skim Milk.  LOVED it!

The Vanilla and Chocolate mix up well in the shaker cup-- The Fresh Berry flavor did not.

My excited look when I decided to try it the first day.
As you can tell by the ripped packages, I have finished all three flavors over the last 3 days

What I like about Next Steps Shakes by the Vatamin Shoppe?
  • Relatively low calorie.  Its the equivalent of oatmeal in the morning
  • Protein!!  14 grams of protein in the powder alone.  Which keeps you fuller longer
  • A quick- easy to grab for breakfast on the go for those that are always running late!
  • Mixed up great!!  Who hasn't had a protein shake that wouldn't mix up?  These mixed up great!!
  • (At least vanilla and chocolate did-- the Berry flavor did mix as well.  a little clumpy)
  • The Shaker Bottle is pink and black-- my favorite colors!
What I didn't like?
  • I wish the packet had more mix to go with a larger glass of milk.  The 8 oz of milk went really fast!!
  • The Berry flavor did not mix up nicely with the shaker bottle.
  • The fact that I do not have a Vitamin Shoppe anywhere near me to run out and get some more.  I will have to look online.

Love of learning

Health includes a healthy mind.  I am fortunate enough to have been allowed to attend the National Counsel of Behavioral Health 2014.  This year it is in National Harbor, MD just outside of Washington, DC.  I like when you've had an ah-ha moment.  I have been in the field of mental health for over 20 years and have not considered that perhaps an "oppositional defiant" youth is so simply because they are in a perpetual state of dysregulation.  We have to assist in the basic needs first and through meeting basic needs we can assist in regulating the entire family system.
